Some peace while putting the pieces together

I am creating this at the new coffee shop in town. The owner and I just talked about a concept we're calling a "bright ripple". The bright ripple starts with one, builds to two, and keeps growing. It's positive action growing exponentially until it creates a tsunami of bright beauty and chases off the dark. Everyone get your boards and surf the ripple!

Morgellons's Break

Since documenting my recovery and having it published 3 1/2 years ago, I have researched, written, shared, and spoke about Morgellons almost nonstop. I've decided it is a good time for a break. For how long, I'm not certain. I've blogged on plenty and invite you to look through the many entries. I also know there is plenty on other blogs worth a look.

My best recommendation to those of you still suffering is to keep positive, know what you believe, document all you are going through, find a best approach to clean out your internal environment, and keep your eyes to the horizon. Answers are coming!

Take care, Joe

  1. Dear Joe,
Thank you very much for chronicling your battle with this disease. I really felt comfort in your writings as your experience sounded identical to mine. I am a school teacher also and I have relied on my religion to help me through this, also. Several of the things you detailed were exactly what I experienced. I am so happy for you that you were able to get well. I am going to try to get my fillings out this summer. Know that what you have done on your blog has made a difference in the lives of many.
    Thanks again.

  2. Kelly, Thank you for the kind words. Get a blood sample off to have biocompatability of dental materials checked before you have your fillings removed and replaced. Also, VERY IMPORTANT!, get a biologic dentist who has experience with removal of mercury fillings. You want to have this horrific poison removed with methods minimizing release of more mercury into your body. You can get through this Kelly!

  3. Dear Joe,
Thanks for your reply. I am interested in getting in touch with a biological dentist. I live in a small community in Michigan with no such dentist available. I did find one on the internet that is four hours away. I am trying to find one closer. How would I get the testing done to check the biocompatability of dental materials? Would the dentist do it?
The summer I started showing symptoms was the exact time I got a very large cavity filled. I do feel that there is a connection between the mercury in fillings and this disease. I read recently that the US may be getting away from using the silver fillings. Hopefully this is true.
I am currently off for the summer from teaching but I am busy working on completing two classes to keep my teaching certificate. I have been using my limited energy on that right now but I would like to focus on getting my teeth fixed soon.
I just want to say again how you have given me hope for getting well again. This is so scary to have this disease but you provide comfort to those of us suffering. Thank you so much!

  4. Kelly,
I had a blood plasma sample sent to Clifford Consulting and Research in Colorado Springs (ccrlab.com ). I know there is one other company doing similar testing, but I can't remember the company name. Contact them to get specifics on what they will need from you to test. Better yet, contact the biologic dentist you plan to work with (...they may be able to provide you with a kit for testing (they will need to see what your body is tolerant of before replacing any dental work). I would recommend calling the dentist 4 hrs. from you and asking them if they know of any other biologic dentist closer to you.

It will take time and effort to get through this, but you can do it. Take care, Joe
