Some peace while putting the pieces together

I am creating this at the new coffee shop in town. The owner and I just talked about a concept we're calling a "bright ripple". The bright ripple starts with one, builds to two, and keeps growing. It's positive action growing exponentially until it creates a tsunami of bright beauty and chases off the dark. Everyone get your boards and surf the ripple!

One Very Important Hour!

I believe Morgellons Disease is a form of mercury poisoning. I present this as a theory (and have had it published as so). If you have read some of my postings, none of this should come as a surprise. There are two outstanding resources I'd like to share with the request you take the time to review them (no more than an hour I suspect).

The first is a recent report by the Scientific Committee of the European Commission titled "Is dental amalgam safe for humans? The opinion of the scientific committee of the European Commission" under Mutter (as author). The link does not appear to work, but the full article can be found through the link on pubmed.gov. Please look at it. One very significant piece (I believe) is testing for mercury; they show that typical testing (hair and urine) may not show mercury accumulation in the body. I suspect a blood test of glutathione may be the best means (presently) to reflect on mercury body burden.

I also feel the best review of the many effects of mercury on the body is given in a 12 minute video at: http://www.thenaturalrecoveryplan.com/ . Take the time to watch this. It is well done. I plan to get other resources through this site and have also put the link on the right.

These two sources say much about mercury and the possible connection to Morgellons Disease. Please take the time to watch them. Happy healing, Joe

Blog/Radio Show With Dr. Omar Amin

Pam Crane will be hosting a show with Dr. Omar Amin this week. I hope to listen when it is broadcast, but I may have to listen to it after it airs.

Dr. Amin has done some of the most important research related to Morgellons (NCS) and was the key player in my recovery. I'm certain this will be a very worthwhile listen!

Glutathione Testing

I found this short video related to easy and inexpensive means to see if you are mercury toxic. In it testing glutathione levels is recommended. I've not been tested for this myself but have had significant shifts in energy levels since starting to take glutathione. The link is: http://www.mercuryexposure.info/consumers/testing-for-mercury/glutathione/item/457-testing-glutathione-to-determine-mercury-toxicity

Brain Work Out

The brain is pretty complicated. Those who claim expertise in brain studies seem to be realigning and uncovering new understanding all the time. For myself, as a teacher, scholar, and having recovered from symptoms I believe are entirely connected to neurotoxicity, brain work is essential. When I'm not writing, reading, talking or listening, I like to try to exercise my brain in different ways. I don't entirely understand the brain, but I do know it feels right to "work it out".

We each have our likes and dislikes. I think it is helpful in several ways to try to get the gray matter up and running daily. Certainly some studies indicate it keeps us sharp and less likely to end up with dementia and such. For myself, it has also been an indicator of problems...deep problems likely related to my endocrine system.

Recently, I visited a local dollar store and got a puzzle book to challenge myself (I like sudoko but am less fond of crossword puzzles). Whatever I pencil through, I feel it's good for me. Of course, there's endless online possibilities. I also like to play cards, but have a hard time finding cribbage lovers (my favorite game). Another possibility is to take some courses at a local college or purchase coursework (as I did last spring through The Great Courses (a company which sells lecture series...I'm not much of one for lectures...but it works sometimes)).

You know your own likes and dislikes...whatever gets your brain buzzing and moving is worth doing. My suggestion is- Just do it!

Pay it Forward!

There was a movie that came out ten years ago or so. My girlfriend at the time got it out and we spent the evening watching it. Pay it Forward wasn’t an especially great movie, but the message was. The concept of having someone do good for you and you passing the good deed forward to others is powerful. Is it happening in the Morgellons world? You bet! I wanted to share some of the people I see passing it forward, sharing their knowledge and skills and trying their best to pay it forward to others. Here they are- some of the people I consider Morgellons heros.

Mr. Commonsense- Here is a man who has taken endless hours of his time to try to bring some common sense into the confusion. He has posted a array of useful information on managing and healing from symptoms. His blog has plenty of followers and endless hits. I usually try to direct sufferers towards his blog (http://morgellonspgpr.wordpress.com/) to find well organized and worthwhile sharing on all things Morgellons. His most recent entry suggest some action to get the CDC to share information on Morgellons. He asks us to "Stay tuned"...I will and hope you will too!

Pam Crane- Pam has acted as a link between sufferers and competent health practitioners. She has regular online blog/radio shows which provide a wealth of information and allows call ins for questions. Her most recent interview is found at: Morgellons Focus on Health Online Radio by Morgellons Focus on Health | Blog Talk Radio

Ramona at Healing Grapevine- Ramona shares excellent information on healing through balance, detox, herbs and remedy success. She gives her writing a personal spin and does not hold back from opinion. Check it out at: http://www.healinggrapevine.com/ .

Judith Knilan's- Wrote a book on her personal account with Morgellons and gave free access as an ebook (I have not been able to access this, but know others have. Give it a try with link at: http://morgellonspgpr.wordpress.com/2010/03/21/free-morgellons-e-book-by-judith-knilans/). She still contributes and shares as time allows (she is healing from cancer at the moment. Prayers and good thought are welcome!)

Others- I know there are others who have shared online. I cannot list all, but will make one general statement; it appears that all who document recovery or management of symptoms aggressively reclaim their bioterrain.

Future Hero= You! A common thread between people managing or eliminating these symptoms is detoxification. I know for myself it works and it appears I am not alone. I request everyone pursuing health document what they are going through. You never know who it might help. Pass it forward!

Clay, Movie and a Challenge

It's an eclectic title and reflects well on my thoughts this morning. I've just finished a week of house and chicken sitting for some friends. The rainy days (which were more than the sunny) gave me time to reflect and the sunny ones to plan. On one of the rainy days, I listened to Joyce Riley's Power Hour radio show (I wanted to hear what Trisha Springstead had to share)and was really intrigued by information on calcium betanite clay. I posted a link for a free viewing of the movie Food Matters; I watched it twice, so I give it a big thumbs up. Lastly, I wanted to offer a fun challenge involving some serious thinking.

Calcium betanite clay (also called living clay) is being used to assist in detoxing. The way it works is based on how the clay particles are charged; they draw heavy metals to them and bind. The clay can be drank to internalize and pull from the intestinal track. It can also be used in foot baths or, and this is what I'll be trying next month, can be applied to skin. Once on the skin either spend time in an infrared sauna or lay in the sun (weather and setting permitting). The clay will draw through the skin and simply wash all off. The expert speaking on this (forgot her name...can I call it a senior moment?)claimed great success. Trish Springstead is using this with some of those suffering from toxicity in the Gulf region with good results. I looked up the cost online and found you can get a pound of this for as little as $6. Give it a shot! Why not?

Onward, the movie Food Matters link was forwarded to me by Pam Crane (another Morgellons/ toxicity recoverer). If you can watch it for free today or get a copy of it. While the focus was on the importance of food and the role of nutrition in health, it also shared a good deal on detoxing (especially Gerson Therapy). The overwhelming theme was nourish the body and the body heals. All in all, it was very well done and provided excellent information. Two thumbs up!

Finally, with the change in weather and the coming holiday season, I thought I'd provide a challenge with a prize. As you may or may not know, I am a professional writer (among other things). My first book Grandpa and the Christmas Crib was released last year (and I am hoping is found at your local library). I also illustrated this book. What my publisher does not know is there are three Morgellons related images in the book. Your challenge is to find them. Sound like fun? Here's the deal, the first person to send the page number as well as what and how part of the image relates to Morgellons will win a signed copy of Grandpa and the Christmas Crib. You can send your answers to me through my main website: jwkeleher.com. I will let everyone know the winner through this blog. Good luck!

The Movie Food Matters

Pam Crane posted a link to this today and I watched it with my morning cup of tea. It has a ton of great information! It is available online for free for the next couple of days. Watch it at: http://www.foodmatters.tv/screeningeventcinema

Day Two of Lemonade Fast and Morgellons Update

I'm back in Pennsylvania. I've given notice to my renter and so will be moving back into my home in one month. I'm looking forward to being in my familiar and own space. Money is tight, but I decided to splurge and purchase a nice organic bed. I'd been thinking I would like to do a week long fast before settling back in and was offered the chance to house/cat/ chicken sit for some friends. It's a quiet country setting, so I'm planning to fast, relax and take in the quiet until Friday.

I really like the update on Healing Grapevine and thought I'd pass it on. It is at: http://blog.healinggrapevine.com/morgellons/morgellons-update/

Happy Healing, Joe
